Operation Cartwheel

This game helped me understand the attack on Japanese islands a lot better. It was interesting to learn about the different tactics that the Allies used to win this war. For example, the method used by Nimitz, island hopping, was quite different than anything else we have learned before. Confusing the enemy into to thinking that the Allies were going to attack at a different island was very smart. Over all, playing the game to learn about the capture of Rabaul was much more interesting and fun than just listening to a lecture!
